Number of shows available on iTunes
I’ve gotten a couple of emails regarding the number of available shows on iTunes for the podcasts, or to be more specific, why all the episodes of each show are not available. The issue is the software that runs the website only allows up to 30 items in each RSS feed. That RSS feed is what goes to iTunes, so that is the maximum number that can be made available there. The only show not effected by this is Suspense Replay. That feed originates from elsewhere, so all the past shows are up on iTunes.
I just today set the feed to include 30 items. It had been set to 20. It will take some time before that change is reflected on iTunes. You can always download any of the shows straight from the RelicRadio.com website. Just click on the podcast titled you’re after in the menu.
July 5-6 Old Time Radio Weekend
This weekend will bring three “extra” shows to Relic Radio!
In celebration of the fourth of July, or any other reason you can think of, you’ll find new episodes from Relic Radio Sci-Fi, the Relic Radio Show, and Relic Radio Thrillers this weekend. These are in addition to the regularly scheduled shows coming out next week.
Saturday will bring you the usual episode from The Horror as well as The Relic Radio Show featuring a program from The Clock. Sunday look for an episode from Exploring Tomorrow on Relic Radio Sci-Fi, and from Relic Radio Thrillers we’ll hear Inner Sanctum Mysteries. I almost forgot to mention Gildersleeve! He’ll be out at his regular time as well.
Whether you’re sitting by the pool, working in the yard, or driving to that next vacation destination, I hope you enjoy the holiday and these extra shows!
Relic Radio Sci-Fi
The next entry into the Relic Radio family is just about ready. Relic Radio Science Fiction will feature, what else, old time radio sci-fi stories. This show will be released on Monday’s, but I might get the first one out sooner than that. I know some of you have wanted this, and I hope the rest will give it a listen!

Diggers And Doctors
I mentioned in the last post about the “Perils Of Archaeology” set of shows, well I found a fourth episode that fits the bill and will be featuring this set soon. In the process of putting that together, I managed to put together another special set! This one will feature (begin echo) The Mad Men Of Medicine (end echo). That set will tell the twisted tales of doctors gone bad.

The Perils Of Archaeology
I’m putting together another four episode set of stories, this time exploring the oddities and evil unearthed by archaeologists. I’ve found three that fit the bill, but I’m still digging for the fourth.
I haven’t decided yet which show I’ll put these on. Maybe Relic Radio Thrillers (they certainly fit there). Of course they’d fit well on The Horror too.
